Tanzania is blessed with some of the best safari destinations on the planet. The government has also done a wonderful job in protecting so much of the land to preserve this great asset. In fact 28% of Tanzania's terrestrial land is under protected status.
By far the most sought after destinations for safaris are in the north of the country. With the magnificent Mt. Kilimanjaro also being located in the north, this area receives the most number of tourists. The town of Moshi and Arusha city are where most safari tours start from. We prefer Moshi due to its small town atmosphere, its cleanliness and the wonderful backdrop of Mt. Kilimanjaro. If you prefer Arusha though, we can easily begin the itinerary from there. Both towns are located 45 minutes from Kilimanjaro International Airport.
The Northern Safari Circuit consists of Serengeti National Park, Ngorongoro Conservation Area, Lake Manyara National Park, Tarangire National Park, Arusha National Park and Mkomazi National Park. Although they are located close to one another, each park has its own unique qualities that make visiting several of them worthwhile. Eco-Africa Climbing Offers luxury lodge safaris, permanent tented safaris as well as camping safaris. We can fit most every budget. You can choose to fly into parks by small plane or by safari vehicle. Our vehicles are all well maintained 4x4 wheel drive with safari viewing roofs. On our camping safaris, we supply quality tents and we prepare meals for you. We can accommodate special diet needs (if notified before the trip).

enclosure to thousands of animals with highest concentration of animals in a single area in the world. The Crater walls act like a barrier denying thousands of animals the chance to escape,
more notably the Big five including the Lions, Elephants, Buffaloes, Leopards and the Black Rhino which thrive in this area. Other animals that can be spotted easily and at close range in the Ngorongoro Crater include the zebras, silver back jackals, hyenas, impalas, topis, hartebeests,
gazelles, and many other more. The Lake Makat in the center of the Crater floor is a home for flamingos and other aquatic birds like the Egyptian geese, and others. Lunch will be taken at the
hippo pool side or at any of the campsites at the Crater floor then you will ascend up and rive out of the Conservation area before the lapse of your permits time. You will then drive back to
Arusha town where your safari ends arriving in Arusha in the late afternoon / early evening.

• Pre-existing medical conditions
• Emergency medical
• Medical evacuation and repatriation

At a minimum, the insurance should protect you against trip cancellation and trip interruption, should you need to cancel your trip due to circumstances such as training injuries or sickness or emergencies. Ideally, insurance should cover high altitude trekking (not to be confused with "mountaineering" or "mountain climbing" which most insurance will not cover) and all medical and repatriation costs.
